Set a YouTube Video as Your Space Background

Many chill-style YouTube videos offer not only relaxing music but also beautifully crafted visuals.

I thought it might be fun to write notes or work while casually watching those visuals in the background—so I expanded the YouTube playback feature to allow videos to be set as workspace backgrounds.

Endless Possibilities

You can now play any YouTube video while you work—not just music-focused ones.
Depending on your ideas, this feature can be used in many creative ways.

Personally, I use it for task management, quick memos, and cheat sheets during work, often with a chill video playing to help me stay focused.

How It Feels to Use

While I was working on writing, I found the subtle video motion in the background surprisingly enjoyable.
For me, this feature turned out just how I’d hoped.

About the Controls

Playback controls (like play/pause and volume) are conveniently located in the sidebar.

You can easily adjust volume or stop the video at any time from there.
