The News Widget allows you to display a list of the latest articles from various websites using RSS feeds.

An RSS feed is a format that delivers updates from websites, such as news sites or blogs. It typically includes the latest article titles, summaries, and links, and many websites publicly provide RSS feeds.

No setup required – just pick from popular sources

While you can enter any RSS feed URL directly, we've also made it easy for users unfamiliar with RSS by providing a predefined list of major news websites, categorized by topic.

For example:

• General News: BBC News
• Business: BBC Business News
• Tech: TechCrunch

Just check the sources you're interested in, and the latest news will appear automatically.

Choose your display mode

When multiple news sources are selected, you can choose between two display modes:

Timeline view (default)

All articles from all sources are shown in reverse chronological order. This is useful if you want a feed-like experience, similar to social media timelines.

Grouped by source

Articles are grouped and displayed per news source. This is useful when you want to browse by media outlet and check their updates individually.
